An Unusually Snowy Day

England normally doesn't receive any snow.  If they receive one centimeter, it is chaos in the streets.  Well, last night we received over 6 inches of glorious SNOW!!!!!  For those of you that know me, you are aware of just how giddy I become over snow.  I love snow.  It truly is one of my favorite things.  I study snow crystals and watch the skies for any sign of the beautiful creation.  When I woke up this morning, I was beyond thrilled.  I put on my boots and jacket and went for a nice walk.  I took pictures to show you England in an unusually snowy state.

I think I brought Minnesota with me!  Or so I've been told....  :D
Driving here with snow is quite dangerous, as the streets are very narrow.  In Minnesota, this would not be a big deal at all. After all, we are tough Minnesotans who can handle any weather thrown at us!  Booya!  However, they don't have the equipment here to move the snow.  Snow is so rare, that it would be wasteful to buy snow equipment.

Aww!  It's my beloved English Ivy!  Isn't it lovely when tickled with snow?

Miss you  all!  Enjoy the Minnesota winter!
